Isandla means many hands. Isandla Creations is a project various African crafts are made by local people in South Africa and sold all over the world. Through a program like Isandla Creations these people are able to earn far more money for their craft works than they would trying to sell them individually. Many of the creations include beadwork, woven tapestry, candles, and paintings.
One of the earlier banners for Isandla Creations was quite dark, introducing the company as powerful and mysterious. A later banner sought to present Isandla Creations as a very African-centric, creative organization. Zulu drawings and patterns are used to create a culturally rich and South African look. Handwriting text in an earth tone completes the tribal african appeal of the banner.
